Its not all about the money

For the last few years we have done an event in St. John’s Park, Burgess Hill. 
 

The event is called “Party in the Park” There are lots of live music acts. This years event was particularly good, with a wide range of music.

They also have local charities and people from the local Scouts selling food.

We have to pay a pitch fee and we make our money by charging customers a certain amount for 5 minutes.

This year we had 3 people that wanted to use the Bouncy Castle. One was in a wheelchair, and the other 2 were the carers.

To try and make this as safe a possible we told the other customers we were not letting anyone on the Bouncy Castle for 15 minutes. This gave the carers time to get the customer out of the wheelchair, and safely on the Bouncy Castle. 
 

They had a great time on there, constantly laughing whilst on the Bouncy Castle.

The sound of their laughter stayed with me for the rest of the day.

They were extremely grateful we let them go on the Bouncy Castle on their own
